Volunteer

Volunteer opportunities for individuals, corporate, faith-based and community groups
We believe ending homelessness requires the participation of the entire community. hopeFound volunteers provide valuable activities and services helping men and women move beyond homelessness.

There are many ways to help:

Prepare and serve a meal
Share and prepare your favorite recipe with the guests in our emergency shelter and recovery programs; full meals and of desserts are most welcome, and help defray our costs.

Lead a small activity group
A group of 6-10 volunteers can lead activities for guests in our recovery programs. We welcome volunteer groups planning arts & crafts activities or organizing games nights.

Run an in-kind donation drive
Collect important items like new or gently worn clothing, or gift cards from markets, fast food restaurants, pharmacies, the MBTA and discount department stores.

Host a Corporate Breakfast or After 5 Social to End Homelessness
Host a breakfast or after-work gathering to increase awareness of hopeFound programs and the effort to end homelessness.

Share your personal expertise
Are you a personal trainer or a yoga instructor? Do you have a special skill or training to offer our guests in recovery programs? We will work with you to develop a fulfilling volunteer experience.

Host a Summer BBQ
A group of 10-20 volunteers can host a summer, week day or weekend cookout for guests in our emergency shelter and recovery programs.

Fill Sunshine Gift Bags
Assemble a collection of flip flops (shower shoes), sunglasses, umbrellas, chapstick, and sunscreen in individual Gift Bags to distribute to guests during summer months.
