Supportive Housing
Supportive Housing offers case management services assisting formerly homeless men and women with histories of substance abuse and/or mental health issues with retain their housing and building self sufficiency. Clients are located in 134 units of scattered site and congregate housing in the Boston area. Housing Support Specialists work with tenants on-site to identify community resources, mitigate crises, develop living skills and maintain permanent housing.
hopeFound partners with non-profit housing developers,and public housing authorities to secure appropriate, affordable housing.
Supportive Housing Provides:
- Subsidized housing at 30% of tenant income
- Single room occupancy and one or two bedroom apartments
- Scattered site or congregate settings
- Ongoing goal-oriented case management and support
- Clinical support for substance abuse and/or mental health issues
- Assistance with landlord or tenancy issues
- Emergency rental assistance
