At last count, 7,529 people were homeless in Boston. It doesn’t have to be that way. You can make a difference.

Street Outreach

Street Outreach teams canvass Boston’s streets and alleys to build relationships with 400 street-dwelling men and women each year who have substance abuse and/or mental health histories. Through ongoing support and advocacy, Street Outreach workers facilitate access to housing, addiction and mental health treatment, income, emergency shelter, and other necessary services.

Street Outreach Provides:

  • Housing search
  • Referrals

  • Ongoing support and follow-up to ensure access to services and/or housing
