Emergency Shelter and Street Outreach

The Shattuck Shelter provides emergency refuge, food, clothing, medical care, mental health treatment, housing placement, legal assistance and addiction referrals for 120 men and women.

Street Outreach teams canvass Boston’s streets and alleys to build trusting relationships with 400 homeless adults and help them access shelter, addiction and/or mental health treatment, and permanent housing.

Project Genesis: New Beginnings for Women provides intensive trauma-informed case management for 60 homeless women with addiction and/or mental health issues.
