Kitty Dukakis Treatment Center for Women

The Kitty Dukakis Treatment Center for Women is a 32-bed, post-detox facility open to homeless women (18 yrs or older) in the early stages of recovery. The trauma-informed treatment includes individual and group education and counseling, case management, and extensive after-care referrals and placement. Services are designed specifically for women with histories of chronic substance abuse, co-occurring mental health issues and histories of trauma.

The program has the capacity to serve individuals who are dually diagnosed with a mental illness, as well as those living with HIV/AIDS or other chronic medical conditions.

The Kitty Dukakis Treatment Center for Women Provides:

  • 28-day, post-detox residential program
  • Women’s-only facility
  • Individual and group treatment for addiction and trauma
  • Case management
  • On-site medical services, including psychiatric assessment and monitoring
  • After-care planning and placement

Current third-party payers include MBHP, BMC HealthNet and Beacon Health Strategies/NHP. A limited number of beds for the uninsured are available.
