IMPACT Employment Services

IMPACT Employment Services supports more than 400 homeless men and women each year with securing, retaining and upgrading a job. On average, IMPACT clients earn $11.01 per hour.

IMPACT Employment Services also supports two additional special initiatives:

  • Project TEAM: Links over 100 clients per year with food stamps and employment resources
  • Young Adult Initiative: Assists 50 homeless young adults, ages 18-24, with specialized support to find and retain jobs

The program is recognized as a Best Practice in Employment Services by the National Alliance to End Homelessness.

IMPACT Provides:

  • Skills assessment
  • Employment counseling and career coaching
  • Job search
  • Workplace skill development including basic computer proficiency
  • Job training referrals
  • Career Resource Room
  • Client support E-mail, voice mail, PO boxes, clothing, and transportation assistance
  • 6-month job retention support
